Mimi Fogel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Mimi Fogel (Union, New Jersey). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Sapir and Martha Sapir; her sons, Dan and Fred; her granddaughters, Phoebe and Addie; her brother Richard; her nephew Harris Kirsch (Doreen); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jesse and Jared; her nephew Devin Sapir; her extended family, Taylor and Scherzer; and also Patricia.
She volunteered at the Maplewood Public Library and taught science to early elementary students until the covid pandemic intervened. And it was only in her late 80's that life slowed her down enough to move to an assisted living facility in the Boston area, where her sons both lived.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations in her name be made to I-ASC, an organization dedicated to assisting nonspeaking and neurodiverse communities.
