He was predeceased by: his wife Domenica Chiarella; and his siblings, Maria Paradiso and Michele Chiarella. He is survived by: his daughter Rosa Veloso (Armindo); his grandchildren, Domenica and Francesco; his great grandchildren, Alessia and Sienna; and his siblings, Giuseppe Chiarella, Giovanni Chiarella and Gina Carulli.
