Philip Raskin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Raskin (Union, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Raskin and Harriet Raskin; and his nephew Andrew Duchossois. He is survived by: his wife Georgeann Duchossois Raskin; his daughter Kathryn Raskin (Andrew Hunter); his brother Todd Raskin (Cynthia Raskin); and his nieces and nephews, Laura Byrne (Raskin), Lindsay Raskin Patton, Alex Duchossois and Adam Raskin.
During the pandemic, he lovingly revisited years of stored tapes, discovering rare live performances from Bill DeArango and Skip Hadden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Philip's memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
