He is survived by: his wife Arlene DaSilva; his children, Joseph, Richard, Carmen, Bernice Valente and Theresa Valdes; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Janine, Fernandez and Justin Valente; and his siblings, Donald, Carmen, Michael DaSilva, Lucille Maehr, Rosalie Ward, Marguerite Andres and Linda DiAlfanso.
