He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oset and Anna Oset. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his son Jeff (Joyce); his daughter-in-law Lucille; and his grandsons, Matthew (Jessica), Steven (Kim), Troy and Ryan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galante Funeral Home-Union (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Galante Funeral Home (2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083). A burial was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at the Neshanic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to Semper Fi Fund.
