It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wood of Upper Montclair, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Wood and Madelyn Wood (Cassidy); his sister Joan McEnaney; his brother-in-law Tom; and his nephew Tom.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Barry; his sons, John B. Wood, Sr. (Jessica) of Great Falls, VA, Christopher Wood (Betsy) of Washington, DC, Nicholas Wood (Christi) of Rye, NY and Emmett Wood (Kara) of Little Silver, NJ; and his caregivers, Doreen Haughton and Michael Kwakye.
