He is survived by: his children, Christine Martinez (Angel Cubero) of Belleville, Brian Martinez (Veruska Samanez) of Cedar Grove and Amanda Russell of Lodi; his grandchildren, Xavier, Demetri, Malia, Jyzaya, Lucas, Heather, Nova, Abel and Nazar; and his brother James Russell.
