He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald G. Eckhardt and Stella Greenwood; his stepfather Jack Greenwood; and his brother Paul Eckhardt (Trish). He is survived by: his wife Janet Eckhardt; his brother Peter Eckhardt (Maria); and his siblings-in-law, Gloria and Jack. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
