She was predeceased by: her father Richard Ashton; and her husband John M. Stevens. She is survived by: her parent Marion Ashton (Hoffman); her sons, Daniel Christie (Katherine) and David Christie (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Nicholas Daniel Christie, Alexander Joseph Christie, Sara Lynn Touchette and Dana Lynn Christie; her brothers, Richard and Dennis Ashton; her pet Sadie Rose; Marion Ashton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ferguson - Vernon Funeral Home (241 NJ-94, Vernon Township, NJ 07462). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vernon United Methodist Church (303 NJ-94, Vernon Township, NJ 07462).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vernon United Methodist Church (vernonumc.org).
