Highland Lakes, NJ: Sean Matthew Mulligan, 32 years old, passed
away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Born to
John and Susan Mulligan in Belleville, NJ, he has resided in Highland
Lakes, NJ for his entire life.

Sean worked as an HVAC technician in his father’s business, Advanced
Mechanical Services in Ridgefield, NJ. Sean was an avid ice hockey player
and enjoyed fishing, weight lifting at the gym and most of all, spending time
with his family. He was kind-hearted, had an infectious smile and touched
the lives of everyone he met.

Sean is the beloved son of Susan and John Mulligan. He is the dear
brother of his sisters, Kerry Mulligan and Kim Margetis, and her husband
James. He is the proud uncle to his nephew, James. He is the loving
grandson of Jean Ketchell, the great-nephew of Father Jack Martin, and
the cherished nephew of Debbie and Darrell, Billy and Lise, Margaret and
Rob, Tom and Maria, Mary and Steve, Sharon and Mark, Michael and
Jackie, Maureen and Scott, Bobby and Lisa, and Diana. He is very close
with his many cousins, Jamie and her husband Rob, Josh and his wife Jen,
Ricky, Joey, Dylan, Paul, Jared and his wife Brenda, Mickey and his wife
Amy, Timmy, Beth, Johnny, Sarah and her husband Josh, Laura, Derrick
and his wife Kim, Robert and his wife Nicole, Samantha and her husband
John, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Tori, Stevie, Austin, Alec, Becka, Terry, Ketchell, Kathy,
Devin, Danielle and her husband William, Ryan, Alisha, Dylan, Jessica,
Matt, Michelle and her husband Tom, David, Kaci, and 29 second cousins.
He will also be dearly missed by his loyal dog, Loco.

Visitation will be held at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94 (1
Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from
4-8 PM. Family will gather at the funeral home on Monday, October 25 at
9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima RC
Church, Highland Lakes, NJ and interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon Twp., NJ.
