It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sverre Christensen of Vernon, New Jersey, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sverre Christensen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sverdrup Christensen and Anna Christensen (Thorsland); his wife Eileen Christensen (Curran); and his sisters, Selma Overland and Frida Haaland.

He is survived by : his children, Elizabeth Huff (David), Kara Acosta (Fred) and John Christensen; his grandchildren, Mia, Liam Acosta and Heather Huff; and his great grandchild Tessa Huff.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ferguson—vernon Funeral Home (1 Vanderhoof Ct, Vernon Township, NJ 07462). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Vernon Funeral Home (241 NJ-94, Vernon Township, NJ 07462).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the McAfee Fire Department.
