She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard J. O'Connor, Sr.; her son Gerard J. O'Connor, Jr.; and her brother Irwin Washeleski. She is survived by: her children, Carolann Pontes (John), Edward O'Connor (Donna), Thomas O'Connor (Melissa), Kathleen Riley (Timothy), James O'Connor (Jeanette) and John O'Connor (Candace); her grandchildren, Deirdre Pontes, Marlo Pontes, Anthony, Sara O'Connor, Christine, Grant Greenberg, Laura, Joseph Fornabaio, Edward O'Connor, Jr., Molly, Matthew Heitzer, Jimmy O'Connor, Catlyn, Charles Bowen, Thomas, Samantha O'Connor, Jr., Elisabeth, Stefan Bebenov and Colleen O'Connor; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Athena Pontes, Charlotte Bowen, Frank, Bruce Fornabaio, Margo, Luke, Hailey, Lily Heitzer, Ryan, Ellie O'Connor and Chase Greenberg; and her brother Edward Washeleski (Dolores). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prout Funeral Home (370 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ 07044). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church (22 Lakeside Ave, Verona, NJ 07044).
