It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George D. Hansen Jr. of Verona, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his former life partner Patricia A. Hansen; his children, Jessica Hansen and Adam Hansen; his parents, Winifred Hansen, and George David Hansen, Sr.; his sister Jane W. Hansen; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Hansen.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Hansen; his siblings, William C. Hansen, Robert A. Hansen (Kathleen) and Janice H. Tierney (Michael); and his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Casale, Jennifer Hansen, Amy Ledesma, Melissa Morgan, Laura VanTassell, Kelley Tierney, Amanda, Jayme Yeskel, Wayne Masters, Matthew Hansen and Michael Tierney.
