She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Rooney and Elizabeth Rooney; her husband Hugh P. Gardner; and her brother Lawrence Rooney. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Gardner (Celestine) and Jennifer Distell (Robert); her grandchildren, Allison Distell, Luke Gardner and Bailey Gardner; and her brother Thomas Rooney.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Notre Dame Church (359 Central Ave, Caldwell, NJ 07006).
