She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Schultz and Mary Cortese (Jeanne); and her siblings, Nancy Riley, Richard Schultz and Richard Werstein.

She is survived by : her husband Daniel Kalafut; her siblings, Robert Schultz (Marjorie) and Barbara Maulfair (Ray); her siblings-in-law, Patricia Werstein and Bill Riley; her nephews, Carl Maulfair, David Schultz, Richard Schultz, Kevin Riley and Jonathan Werstein; her niece Kelli Dent; and her great-niece Briella.
