He was predeceased by : his parents, Connie Strumolo and Fiore Strumolo. He is survived by : his wife Naomi; his sons, Peter G. Strumolo (Tami) of Parsippany, Christian Strumolo (Joanna Rolleczek) of Verona and Stephen Strumolo (Michelle) of Colonia; his grandchildren, Sydney, Luke, Logan, Devin and Gemma; his sister Marie Burke (Strumolo) of Belleville; and his nephew Anthony Gammaro (Lorraine) of Cedar Grove.

During his tenure he led numerous campaigns, fundraisers, and charity events for underprivileged children.

“Pete and I lived on Heckel Street (150) during the mid to late 1950's and into the 1960's. We worked together at the Newark Post Office during Christmas (can't remember the year), I believe his Mom got us the jobs. We had fun especially during the lunch break. He was a friend who was fearless. I remember our bus rides fom Belmont Ave. to Belleville High. I pray that he is at peace. And your family will be comforted by God. Deacon Sam Costantino, Edison NJ”
