She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Moroz and Margaret Elizabeth Moroz (Youngstrom); her husband Captain Milton "Mickey" A. Taylor; and her son Timothy Lavin. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Lavin (Glenn Fritz) and Diane Gansho (Rodney); her stepson Mickey Taylor, Jr.; her sister Carol Moroz-Henry (Dave); her grandchildren, Miles, Brooke Gansho and Patrick Gallagher; her great grandchild Patrick Cornelius Gallagher, II; her nephew Matt Henry (Kristin); and her great-niece Aanijah.
She was also active in the ACLU and donated to numerous charities including the Wounded Warriors.
