He is survived by: his parents, Kimberly Hayes of Vineland and Akiem K. Byrd, Sr. of Bridgeton; his child Akiem K. Byrd; his siblings, Nacear K. Byrd and Kaylyn Murray of Vineland; his grandparents, Nadine Byrd McClendon (Alfonso) of Bridgeton and David Thomkins, Sr. (Debbie) of North Carolina; and his close friend Moses Badillo. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
