He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard, Marian Butt, Albert and Eleanor Davis; his mother-in-law Arlene Peterson; and his nephew Tyler Turpin.
He is survived by: his significant other Megan Peterson; his parents, Richard Butt (Sharon) and Susan Davis Butt; his sister Tina Lewis; his father-in-law Dallas Peterson; his daughters, Alexis Butt and Allysa "Jada" Moore-Butt; his stepson Conner Peterson; his grandchildren, Komani, Liam and Syris; his extended family, Debbie Thomas (Johnny), Ron Peterson (Nicole) and Michele Turpin (Tom); and his nieces and nephews, Tara Shull (Ray), Michael Peterson (Lindsey), Zachary Peterson (Jessica), Samantha Peterson (Rodrigo), Alexa Turpin (Wen) and Abigale Turpin (Owen).
