It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alverda Prato of Vineland, New Jersey, who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Lute and Eva Lute; her foster parents, Frank Javos and Alda Javos; and her husband Angelo Prato.

She is survived by : her siblings, Eleanor Leshinsky, Chuck Leshinsky, Aggie Lute, Bunnie Lute, Myrt Godfrey, Reena Thomas, Vicki Baran, Sally Burgess and Gary Javos; and her aunt Bertie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Christy Funeral Home (11 W Broad St, Millville, NJ 08332). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Siloam Cemetery (550 N Valley Ave, Vineland, NJ 08360-3371).
