He was predeceased by: his parents, David Blunt and Gussie Hitt Blunt; and his siblings, Archie Blunt, Sr. and Cleo Jones. He is survived by: his wife Artie E. Williams; his brother-in-law Robert Jones, Sr.; his children, Gwendolyn Barnes (William Raikes, Jr.), Sheila Johnson (Hal, Sr.), Bennie Blunt, Jr. (Shirley) and Michael Blunt, Sr. (Geraldine); and his stepchildren, Darrell R. Owens, Tonya L. Pearson and Steven Williams. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren;10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church- Vineland (1837 NE Blvd, Vineland, NJ 08360). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (182 S Delsea Dr, Vineland, NJ 08360).
