It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleftheria Steele of Vineland, New Jersey, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Christos Stavrou and Vasiliki Stavrou; her son Chris; and her stepson-in-law Brad Green. She is survived by: her husband William Steele; her children, Louis Klekos (Martha), Harry Klekos (Maria) and Connie Klekos Lirio (Chris); her grandchildren, Chris Klekos, Christopher Lirio (CJ), Sophia and Alexa Klekos; her stepchildren, Kimberly Green, William Steele (Dustin) and Benjamin Steele (Courtney); and her stepgrandchildren, Eli, Emma and Erin Green.

Eleftheria Steele, 78, a resident of Vineland, passed into eternal life in the comfort of her home following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's on Sunday, March 8th, 2026.
