He is survived by: his children, Kimoya Peterson of Wilmington, NC and Malachi Thompson; his siblings, Meredith E. Gibbs II (Dionna), George Manire IV (Tara), Jalan Manire (Nyeara), Deneen Haywood, Christel Brooks and Jamilah Platt; and his aunts and uncles, Jerome McIntyre Jr. (Wanda), Samuel McIntrye (Deborah), Charles McIntyre, Benita Davis, Kizzie McIntyre-Best, Yolanda Smith (Lawrence) and Sister Latia Mills. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
