He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kirby Spivey and Martha Beatrice Spivey (Mullen); his wife Lorraine Spivey; and his children, Frank Blakeney (Henrietta), Karen Sylvester (Marlon), Gayanne Spivey and Dr. Kirby Spivey, III (Amanda). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
