It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenell Stewart of Vineland, New Jersey, who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenell Stewart, Sr. and Louise Bernetta Stewart; and his sisters, Helen Stewart and Lavera Taylor. He is survived by: his close friend Joy Carter; his sister Frances Pratt (Alex Adams); his stepchildren, DeAnn Carter (Leon) and James Carter; and his sibling's children, Denise Thompson, Vincent Thompson, Anthony Thompson and Ryan Stewart. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Padgett Funeral Home (1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
