He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Collins and Henrietta (Klossman) of Absecon, NJ; and his parents-in-law, Floyd Colona and Eleanor (Sprangers) of Somers Point, NJ.. He is survived by: his wife Loretta (Colona); his son Joseph; his daughter-in-law Michelle of Elk Township; his son Timothy of Parkville, MD; his grandson Quinn (Sara); his great grandchild Cooper; his granddaughter Erin of Elk Township, NJ; and his sister Leona of Absecon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
