Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gaetano "Tom" Abate Sr.; and her sister Lucille Andersen (Scarpa). She is survived by: her brother Carman Scarpa (Lois); her brother-in-law Keith Andersen; her sons, Gaetano "Tom" Abate Jr. (Carmen), Daniel Abate (Christopher) and Andrew Abate (Anne); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Abate (Brittany), Abigail Abate, Allison Abate and Ava Abate. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
