He was predeceased by: his wife Amy Rivera; his brothers, Ramon Rivera Jr. and Carlos Rivera; and his parents, Ramon Rivera and Herminia Rivera.
He is survived by: his son William Rivera; his foster daughter Natalie Malave; and his siblings, Heraclio Rivera (Carmen), Hector (Cherie-Fischer-Rivera), Richard Carlson, Candy Rodriguez (Pablo) and Maxine (Peter). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
