Carl Cassel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Cassel in Voorhees, New Jersey, born in Broad Axe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph H. Cassel and Rachel Rebecca Cassel (Phifer); and his siblings, Irene Butler, Barbara Francis and Ralph Cassel.

He is survived by : his children, Karen Boye (Jay) of Voorhees, NJ and Carl Cassel, Jr. (Kim) of Glassboro, NJ; and his grandchildren, Kirsten Boye (Michael Barone) of Philadelphia, PA and Kevin Boye (Tenninger) of Conshohocken, PA.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private at the request of the family. A celebration of his life will be held for Carl once the pandemic has waned.

“We were so sorry to hear of Carl's passing and send our sincere condolences to Nancy and the whole family. My mother Vivian Hawk (Welty) was Carl's cousin and she always spoke very highly of him. In my limited contact with him I always found him to be a very nice and kind man and wish we could have had more interaction.
