She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Elwood Dawson, Jr.; her children, Elizabeth Welker and Brett Dawson; and her siblings, James Kerr, Jr., Nora Murray and Emma "Sis" Donofrio.
She is survived by: her sons, Howard E. Dawson, III (Janet) and Gary Dawson (Sharon); her grandchildren, Howard Dawson IV (Heather), Jamie Allen (Kyle), Diana Rambo (Derek), Gary Dawson Jr., Daniel Dawson, Brett Dawson Jr. (Rebecca), Pamela Walsh (Michael), Nikki Marroletti (Jim), Kimberly Dawson, Christopher Welker (Maria) and Joshua Welker (Beatriz); and her brother Herb Kerr (Diane). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chews United Methodist Church (319 N Black Horse Pike, Glendora, NJ 08029). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chews United Methodist Church.
