She was predeceased by: her parents, John Abbott and Gertrude Abbott (Shields); her husband Melvin E. Pratt Sr.; and her son Steven Pratt. She is survived by: her sons, Melvin E. Pratt Jr. (Kristina) and David L. Pratt (Stacie); her siblings, Gertrude Dailey (Abbott) and John Abbott; and her grandchildren, Phillip and Kaela.
