She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Francis Dilger; her parents, Victor Kriss and Agnes Kriss; and her sisters, Jean Gardner and Gwenyth Kriss.

She is survived by : her children, NJ, Robert F Dilger Jr. (Barbara) of Waldwick, Chistopher F Dilger (Mary) of Linden, Catherine E Botz (Gunnar) of Pahoa and Timothy J Dilger (Pamela) of Hamburg; and her siblings, Rita Franz (Myrtle Beach) and John Kriss (Sandy) of Surfside. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gabriel RC Church (88 E Saddle River Rd, Saddle River, NJ 07458).

“My heart breaks to find out Ms Eleanor has passed away. We had many wonderful conversations and shared stories with each other while being her hairdresser. We developed a great friendship and I miss her. As I would say to her as she would get in her car, ‘I love you Ms Eleanor! I’ll see you soon!’ Thank you for the time we had.
