He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James McGinnis and Marguerite McGinnis; his wife Beverly; his son Jim McGinnis Jr. (Gina); his grandchildren, Jackson, Jameson and Olivia; his sister Alice Caliente; and his half-brother Roger Hindle. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, June 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's RC Church (340 N Franklin Tpke, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423). An entombment was held on Tuesday, June 30th 2026 at the Maryrest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
