He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Salvatore, Yolanda Occhipinti, Pasquale and Florence Mancinelli; his uncles, Robert J. Mancinelli and Michael Mancinelli; and his cousin Nikki Mancinelli.

He is survived by : his parents, Robert Occhipinti, Sr. and Donna Mancinelli; his brother Michael Anthony Occhipinti; his aunts, Laura DeForne and Denise Occhipinti; his uncle Richard Mancinelli; and his cousins, John, Julianna Occhipinti, Melissa, Jeffrey Woodhouse, Daniel DeForne, Paula, Mike DiPilla, Christopher of Danielle, RJ, Ryan, Matthew and Madison Mancinelli.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Christian Church (495 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at the George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07653).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
