With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James E Smith Jr. of Wall Township, New Jersey, born in Roselle Park, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Madeline Smith; his sister Phyllis Benjamin; and his great-niece Eleanor Benjamin. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughter Katie Smith (Dorothy); his parents-in-law, Wall and Heather; his daughter Heather (Wall); his father-in-law Wayne; his brother Wayne; his sister-in-law Toni; and his grandchildren, Ella and James. He is also survived by extended family consisting of many wonderful brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Orender Family Home For Funerals (2643 Old Bridge Rd, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
