James left this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Madeline Smith; his sister Phyllis Benjamin; and his great-niece Eleanor Benjamin. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughter Katie Smith (Dorothy); his parents-in-law, Wall and Heather; his daughter Heather (Wall); his father-in-law Wayne; his brother Wayne; his sister-in-law Toni; and his grandchildren, Ella and James. He is also survived by extended family consisting of many wonderful brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
