He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schengrund and Helen Schengrund; and his brothers, David Schengrund and Peter Schengrund. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Schengrund; his children, Pamela J. Schengrund of Brick, Joseph C. Schengrund II (Carol) of Jackson and Timothy J. Schengrund (Linda) of Spring Lake; and his grandchildren, Joseph C. Schengrund III (Rebecca), Eric C. Schengrund of Jackson, Anna C. Schengrund of Jackson, Leigh A. Avery (Ryan Wytanis) of East Windsor and Lydia J. Schengrund of Spring Lake.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in Joseph's name may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
