She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hansen and Doris Hansen; her former husband Frank Catanio; her husband Martin "Marty" Merezio; her daughter Andrea Lynn Catanio; and her brother John Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Catanio (Margaret), John Catanio (Chrisjohnna) and Doreen Catanio (Matthew Hinzpeter); her grandchildren, Serena (Michael), Andrew, Jacqueline Rose, Casandra, Zachary, Juliana Marie, John Jr. and Briana; her great grandchild Giavanna; and her stepchildren, Mark Merezio, Sabrina O'Donnell and Susan Ecker. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Queen of Peace Church (10 Franklin Pl, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
