It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William J. Smith of Wall Township, New Jersey, born in Red Bank, New Jersey, who passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Marie Smith; his sister Marianne; his brother-in-law Vinnie O'Rourke; and his pets, Autumn and Suede.
He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Casi and Will; his nephew David Carroll; his mother-in-law Beverly Malague; his siblings-in-law, Jeff, Yvonne Malague, Cathy, Matt Connor, Rick and Michele Gonzalez; and his sisters, Donna Barr (Dave) and Kathy Hendricks (Glen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
