With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brigida DeCandia of Wallington, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Damiana Gadaleta and Giovanni Gadaleta; and her sister Angela Uva. She is survived by: her spouse Corrado DeCandia; her children, Catina Gaber (Guss) and Joann Chamberlin (John); her grandchildren, Ghazi Gaber (Eva), Ashley Surman (Ron) and Dean Gaber; and her great grandchildren, Anastasia, Alessandro Gaber, Ronnie and Isla Surman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costa Memorial (170 Central Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM. An entombment will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 300 Soldier Hill Rd, Township of Washington, NJ 07676.
