She was predeceased by : her mother Maria Karcz (Hajnos); her husband Jan Bernatowicz; her father Joseph Karcz; and her brother Jan Karcz (Anna). She is survived by : her children, Krystyna (Adam Maliborski), Zofia (Krzysztof Słodyczka), Maria Bernatowicz, Tadeusz (Aniela Bernatowicz) and Władysław Bernatowicz; her siblings, Stanisław (Maria Karcz) and Helena (Tadeusz Głogowski); her grandchildren, Emilia, Natalia, Jacek (Rebecca), Maciej (Melanija), Krzysztof, Bartłomiej, Bernadetta (Dylan), Grzegorz, Adam, Joanna, Izabella, Andrzej, Anna and Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Tomasz and Henryk.
