He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Belue Schatz; his parents, John Schatz and Catherine Schatz; his brothers, John Schatz (Butch) and Daniel Schatz; and his brother-in-law Cecil Farmer.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Schatz (Jacque), Lauren Paige (Chake) and Julie Herbert (Fred); his sister Rosemary Alfano (Gary); and his sister-in-law Sylvia Farmer. He is also survived by two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
