It is with sadness that the passing of Ronald Emil Gierek of Wallington, New Jersey is shared. Ronald, born on July 28, 1937 in Passaic, New Jersey, passed away on October 5, 2026. He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Gierek (Drozd); his son Steven Gierek; and his siblings, Irene Jeyowski and Raymond Gierek. He is survived by: his father Frank Gierek; his children, Ronald Gierek Jr. (Dana), Glenn Gierek (Lisa) and David Gierek (Jillian); his grandchildren, Adrian, Zachary, Tristan, Ava, Jordan, Matthew and Olivia; and his siblings, Hermine "Minnie" Sippie and Jean Montelone. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as countless family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Kamienski Funeral Home of Wallington (106 Locust Ave, Wallington, NJ 07057). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary R. C. Church (6 Wall St, Passaic, NJ 07055). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Cemetery (2 Terrace Ave, Lodi, NJ 07644).
