She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Maassen and Carol Maassen (Knauf). She is survived by: her children, Kari Casper (Rich) of Vernon, NJ and Rob Schmidt (Mary Pat) of Western Springs, IL; her sisters, Dawn Amburgey (Bob), Denise Maassen and Lori Murray (Pat); her grandchildren, Anna, Ben, Emma, Ella, Isabella, Henry, Sam and Alex; and her former husband Robert Schmidt. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
