It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Heather Nicole Bates (Wanaque, New Jersey), born in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on February 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, John Bates (Danielle) and Michele Bruno (Mike Afflitto); her son Jackson Traynor-Bates; her fiancé John Traynor; her siblings, Kyle Bruno (Kiara Benitez), Shane Bates and Brittany Bates; and her grandparents, Harold, Millie Bates, Harry and Ruth Bruno. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Humane Society in Heather's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
