He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his brother Bob Fitzsimmons of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; his children, G. Thomas Neely of Randolph, Dave (Karen Neely) and Sandy (Imre Vitez); his grandchildren, Gerald Neely III, Charlie Neely, Justin (Alyson Neely), Kelsey (Bob Herold), Kaitlyn Vitez, Zachary Vitez and Sam Vitez; and his great grandchild Ryan Neely.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whitehouse Rescue Squad.
