He was predeceased by: his father Kevin Simmons. He is survived by: his wife April Simmons; his sons, Andrew and Tyler; his mother Carmella Simmons; his sister Christina Huszcza (Thomas); and his nieces, Katherine, Alexandra, Elizabeth and Meghan.
