He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Qualter and Cecelia Qualter; his sister Cecelia Connelly; his wife Sally; his children, Karen Carolonza (Stephen), Alison Qualter-Berna, Jill Chisholm and John Qualter (Erin); and his grandchildren, Todd, Sara, Kate Carolonza, Maddie, Sydney, P. J., Jack, Addison Chisholm, Sienna, Mia and Hudson Qualter.
