He is survived by: his children, Matthew Hood (Caryn), Rev. Jared Hood, Kirsten Checchio (Robert) and Carly Hood; his grandchildren, Josephine Nancy, Robert, Caroline, Evangeline, Joshua, Ryleigh, Bernadette Nancy and Zachary; and his siblings, Barbara Stevenson and Dennis Hood.
