We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Virginia Lakatos (Warren, New Jersey), born in Teaneck, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Blank and Teresa Blank. She is survived by : her husband Joseph; her children, Christopher (Kristen Lakatos) and Elizabeth (John Powers); her grandchildren, Shannon Lakatos, Ryan Lakatos and Paige Powers; and her siblings, Barbara (Steve Lakatos), Larry (Kathy Blank) and Patricia Twaite. She is also survived by her 4 nieces.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Mount Chapel (167 Mt Bethel Rd, Warren, NJ 07059).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pieced Together Quilters, P.O. Box 8097, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 as a tribute to Virginia's artistic legacy and community spirit.
