She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ruth Walter (late Roy), James Orrell (Dorothy) and Elizabeth Damiani (late Nicholas). She is survived by: her children, Russell Gilbert Jr. (late Frances), Lois Green (late William) and James Gilbert (Jill); her grandchildren, Jamie, Christopher (Cheri), Marcella and William; and her great grandchild Keira. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
